MERILY BUYER GUIDES · IMPORT & WHOLESALE

Choosing a Roofing Felt Product Mix for a Wholesale Business

A strong wholesale range makes it easy for customers to choose and easy for you to replenish. Start with the roll formats your buyers actually request, then add options with a clear reason.

Choose an anchor item

Identify the specification that accounts for regular demand in your business. Keep its dimensions, mass basis and packing stable. This gives your team a recognisable item to quote and receive.

Merily supplies 1 m-wide short rolls and 20 m formats. A shorter roll is not simply a smaller version of every heavier product; compare the complete specification.

Add options that serve a different buying need

A second item should answer a specific customer requirement: roll length, handling preference, material quantity or familiar packing. Avoid carrying several almost identical wrappers that your sales team cannot distinguish.

For each added SKU, write who buys it and why. If two items answer the same need, review whether both deserve warehouse space.

Test the range against storage and cash requirements

Calculate planned rolls, cargo mass and occupied space for the proposed mix. Keep an allowance for the items that sell more slowly. Use the approved sample and item code when placing repeat orders.

Ask us for a quotation by specification rather than one blended price for an assortment. That keeps the range easy to adjust.

Questions buyers ask

How many specifications should I stock?

Use the fewest that cover your proven customer needs. There is no useful universal SKU count.

Should I offer every available roll weight?

Only where demand justifies it. More options can make purchasing and receiving less clear.

Can I discuss an assortment with Merily?

Yes. Send your present items, expected quantities and destination so we can review the proposed mix.
