How Many Roofing Felt Rolls Fit in a Container?
Understand the roll dimensions, cargo weight and packing details needed for a realistic roofing felt container loading plan.

There is no single roll count for every specification
A container roll count depends on the actual product and packing arrangement. Width and length matter, but the finished roll diameter, roll weight, wrapping and loading method are also part of the calculation.
Merily prepares loading plans against the selected roll specification. A count from a different product or an earlier shipment should not be treated as a fixed capacity for every new order.
Check space and cargo weight together
A loading arrangement must consider both the physical units and the permitted shipment weight. Counting the rolls that appear to fit is not enough if the resulting cargo weight conflicts with the agreed transport limits.
Use confirmed product and packing information for the plan. Where pallets or additional transport packing are used, include their space and mass rather than calculating only the roofing felt rolls.
Describe the loading arrangement
Identify whether the quotation assumes loose loading or another specified arrangement. Review roll orientation, packing protection and the sequence needed to place the agreed quantities into the container.
Loading photographs help document the shipment, but the final quantity should be reconciled with the order and packing list. Keep the product code visible in the records when several specifications are included.
Request a plan for your actual order
Send your roll width, length, weight, packing choice, desired quantity and destination port. Include the container arrangement and delivery terms you intend to use.
Merily will discuss loading quantities for that combination. This gives your purchasing and logistics teams a more reliable basis than a generic rolls-per-container figure copied from another specification.
