Compare like-for-like material quantities
Two 20 m rolls can contain different amounts of material. If the width and length are equal, a different roll mass changes what is being purchased. Ask whether the quoted mass includes wrapping, cloth ends or the core.
Do not use the cheapest price per roll as a substitute for a specification comparison. A nominal area comparison is useful, but it does not establish performance or suitability.
Keep packing and quantity visible
Printed wrappers, end covering and artwork requirements can change the packing cost. The size and mix of an order also affect how production and printing are arranged.
