Planning Mixed-Specification Roofing Felt Container Orders
A mixed-specification container should reflect customer demand and a verified cargo plan. Allocate quantities by item first, then check the combined mass, dimensions and loading arrangement.

List every specification separately
Write width, length, roll mass and packing for each item. Do not quote a blend simply as “mixed Camel rolls”.
For illustration, 1 m × 7 m at 6 kg and 1 m × 20 m at 18 kg are different buying units. Their roll counts cannot be added as though they consume the same space or payload.
Check the combined constraints
Calculate the stated roll mass for each line and sum it, adding any packing not already included. Then review volume and loading practicality against the actual equipment and route.
The loading count for a single-specification container is not a direct allowance for every mixed arrangement.

Plan identification and receiving
Agree an item breakdown and how the groups will remain identifiable through dispatch. Send the same breakdown to the destination warehouse.
Merily can discuss a proposed mix, subject to confirmation of production, packing and the shipment plan. Do not assume arbitrary small quantities of each item are available.
Put it in your buying record
| Mixed-order step | Buyer input | Confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Demand allocation | Rolls required by item | Commercial availability |
| Mass calculation | Quantity × stated roll mass | Complete cargo basis |
| Loading arrangement | Packed dimensions and groups | Equipment and route |
| Receiving | Item-level packing list | Correct mix delivered |
Questions buyers ask
Can different weights be loaded together?
Discuss the actual mix and packing with the supplier and forwarder.
Does mixed loading reduce cost automatically?
No. Compare production, packing and logistics for the proposed arrangement.
What should I send Merily?
Provide the specification, quantity and wrapper reference for every line, plus destination and timing.
