PET film with a deposited aluminium coating for metallic membrane-facing applications. Common 25 and 36 μm gauges describe the PET substrate—not a solid foil layer.
The right material for the right layer.
Metallized PET film provides a metallic surface on a polyester film substrate. Its construction differs from PET laminated to solid aluminium foil, even when the two materials look similar in a roll photograph.

For metallic membrane-facing designs where metallized PET is specified. Confirm coating-side orientation, bonding method and converting conditions with the product specification.

Mechanical data for solid aluminium foil / PET laminate is not used for this product. Agree the selected metallized PET specification separately.

If a specification requires a solid aluminium foil layer, select the laminate page instead. A silver appearance does not establish that structure.

Provide the bonding method, coating orientation and winding requirements to avoid an incompatible production roll.

Yield uses the PET substrate reference; it excludes core, packing and the effect of the deposited coating. Four-roll pallet weight depends on gauge, width and length. Approx. 900 kg is a planning reference, not the weight of every 5000 m format.
