Choose Embossed PE Release Film by Function, Not Surface Appearance Alone
Embossing identifies a surface feature, not the whole release-film specification. For a waterproofing membrane liner, confirm the PE substrate, coated face, required release behaviour and roll format alongside the embossed appearance.

Keep the product family correct
Use embossed PE release film where the specified role is a removable liner at an adhesive interface. Confirm the quoted substrate and construction: surface texture or colour alone does not identify the material.
If you are matching an existing embossed film, send a clear sample photograph and describe its position in the membrane. State whether the film is a removable liner protecting adhesive. That keeps the quotation tied to its actual function.
Specify the required surface and side
Identify the relevant face in the sample and confirm which side contacts the adhesive. Describe the embossed appearance using a sample reference or agreed description. Ask which features are available for the selected grade and format rather than assuming every colour or pattern can be combined freely.
Keep the coating-side and release requirement in separate order fields. The surface texture visible in a photograph is not a numerical release-force specification or evidence of suitability for every adhesive.
Embossed release-film inquiry
On a phone, swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Specify | Keep distinct |
|---|---|
| Material function | Removable liner or other defined duty |
| Substrate | PE identity of the quoted construction |
| Appearance | Embossed sample/pattern reference and colours |
| Contact side | Coated adhesive-facing side |
| Performance | Adhesive-specific release requirement |
| Roll | Gauge, width, core, winding and quantity |

Compare the supply format with your current roll
Include gauge, width, core, winding and roll length or maximum weight. Merily’s common PE release-film gauges are 35/40 μm and common widths are 960/1060 mm. Confirm the exact embossed grade and any required dimensions in the offer.
If an alternative smooth or differently embossed material is proposed, identify it as an alternative. Keep the sample and agreed evaluation attached to the proposal so a visual similarity does not become an untested substitution.
Evaluate the liner with the intended membrane
Use your actual adhesive or membrane reference and the agreed evaluation conditions. Record release behaviour and line handling separately. The useful outcome is approval of a specific construction and format, not a general statement that all embossed film is better.
Send Merily the current sample, required appearance and full roll specification. We can discuss the material and packing together while keeping any available options and the required trial clear in the quotation.
Questions for This Purchase
Does an embossed blue film prove it is cross-laminated HDPE?
No. Our identified blue/black embossed sample belongs to PE release film; confirm each actual product construction.
Does embossing alone establish release force?
No. Specify the release system and evaluation conditions.
Can I request an existing sample match?
Yes. Send the sample reference, application, required appearance and complete roll specification for confirmation.
Send your specification.

Tell us what you produce, the material you need and your required roll format. Include the quantity and destination port so we can prepare the product and packing details together.
Useful details: thickness or basis weight, width, roll length or weight, core, quantity and application. For release film, add coated side and release requirements.
Standard production: approximately 10 days for one 40-ft container order. Customized specifications: approximately 10–15 days. Confirm the schedule with the final order.
