Plan Polyester Reinforcement Roll Length, Mass and Diameter Together
Roll length is most useful when the basis weight, actual width and handling format are stated beside it. Use the confirmed grade references for planning, then verify the selected roll instead of treating one nominal length as universal.

Start with the confirmed grade references
Merily’s confirmed 180 g/m² roll-length reference is 1450 m; the 200 g/m² reference is 1230 m. Common widths are 1010/1020 mm, and target roll diameter is about 1150 mm.
Keep these inputs together. Other grade-length combinations should be agreed for the actual supply configuration. A catalogue length from a different reinforcement type does not establish the mechanical specification of this continuous-filament polyester.
Use actual width in the mass calculation
For material mass in kilograms, multiply basis weight in g/m² by width in metres and length in metres, then divide by 1000. At 180 g/m², 1.01 m and 1450 m, the result is 263.61 kg; at 1.02 m it is 266.22 kg.
For 200 g/m², 1.01 m and 1230 m, the result is 248.46 kg; at 1.02 m it is 250.92 kg. These are material calculations before core and packing, not measured gross roll weights.

| Grade and length | At 1010 mm | At 1020 mm |
|---|---|---|
| 180 g/m²×1450 m | 263.61 kg | 266.22 kg |
| 200 g/m²×1230 m | 248.46 kg | 250.92 kg |

| Diameter | Target about 1150 mm | Confirm actual roll format |

Treat diameter as a handling requirement
The target diameter helps define a usable production roll, but it is not by itself a measurement of total sheet length. Keep core and winding requirements with the actual roll configuration.
If your equipment imposes a different diameter or weight limit, state that constraint before the quotation is confirmed. Do not fix length, diameter and weight independently without checking that the offered configuration meets the complete requirement.
Convert the roll plan into a shipment plan
The current 40 ft loading reference is 40 palletized rolls or 44 rolls loaded without pallets. Apply the actual selected roll mass and packing, then confirm gross weight, dimensions and route limits.
Send Merily the grade, width, length or handling limit, quantity and destination. We can quote the production roll and shipment together while keeping estimates clearly separate from final packing figures.
Questions for This Purchase
Can diameter alone prove roll length?
No. Keep the agreed length-verification basis separate from a packed-roll dimension.
Does the mass formula include the pallet?
No. It calculates reinforcement material mass from area and basis weight.
How many rolls are used for 40 ft planning?
The current reference is 40 palletized or 44 loose-loaded rolls, subject to the actual order and shipment limits.

Useful details: thickness or basis weight, width, roll length or weight, core, quantity and application. For release film, add coated side and release requirements.
Standard production: approximately 10 days for one 40-ft container order. Customized specifications: approximately 10–15 days. Confirm the schedule with the final order.
